About the moderator
I’m Armen Shakhnazarov, the moderator of PHRONESIS. I help professional teams explore real problems with the support of an LLM, so that human judgment can emerge more clearly.
PHRONESIS is a research pilot and a practical service. It grows out of my interest in how human and AI perspectives can complement each other in professional decision-making — especially when questions are complex, uncertain, and high stakes.
My background
I have a background in international business, production and logistics, and many years of experience in moderated team work. I have worked with teams across Europe and beyond, in industrial, commercial and non-profit contexts.
I am interested in how LLMs can be used in a thoughtful and responsible way to support human judgment. With PHRONESIS I combine my practical experience with a curiosity for what becomes possible when different perspectives — human and AI — are brought together in a structured and moderated process.

Why PHRONESIS exists
Many important questions do not have a single correct answer. Teams need space to explore options, see more angles, and make better-informed decisions. PHRONESIS provides a structured, moderated conversation where a real professional problem is explored with the support of an LLM, while human judgment remains at the center.
“Not to replace human judgment, but to expand the space for it.”
How to start
Getting started is simple. You bring the real professional problem — I take care of the rest.

A moderated online session (around 2 hours) brings your team, an LLM and my facilitation together.
What kind of teams and questions fit the format?
PHRONESIS is designed for professional teams who are dealing with complex, open-ended questions. For example:
- Strategy and innovation questions
- Product and service development
- Organisational and operational challenges
- Ethical, societal or sustainability questions
- Questions at the intersection of business, technology and people

Towards a future institute
PHRONESIS is currently a research pilot and a practical service. My longer-term goal is to establish an independent institute dedicated to human–LLM collaboration in professional and societal decision-making. The insights from current sessions will help shape this future institute.
